Billy Fixture over time has made himself an important local man. He sits on the town council and uses his position in order to improve his business and situation for his family.
He had been carrying on an affair with Yssena, one of the acolytes at the Temple of Wandeera, but last year a magical hurricane swept through the town, killing many including Yssena. As far as he knows this is secret, but in reality it is a secret known by Samol Baruk (at the warehouses) who has sold the information to Glorag Drukas (of the Burly Gnome). The affair was also suspected by others among the town leadership. His wife, Trilly has no knowledge but could never forgive him.
